Hutchinson Public Library Launched an Online Digital Library this month that offers patrons immediate access to a large selection of Audio titles, available all day, everyday.

The Library's new Audio Book collection includes bestsellers and classics, fiction and non-fiction, from popular authors and leading publishers such as HarperCollins, McGraw-Hill, Zondervan, and John Wiley and Sons. Patrons may download free software from the Library's website, and then use their Hutchinson Public Library card to check out and download Audio Books. No more overdue fines, once the loan period of 7 days is over, the file expires and the materials are automatically checked back in.

OverDrive, Inc., a leading vendor of Audio and eBook solutions for libraries supplied the technology for the new service. Downloaded Audio Books can be enjoyed on a PC or a Portable WMA/MP3 Players. You may also burn Audio Books to CD and listen to them in your car or on any standard CD player.
