Adult Literacy and Education Resources

The library collection and website contain resources that can assist with preparing for many standardized tests. These include the ACT, PSAT, CLEP, SAT, DSST and several high school exit examinations. Resources are also available for the GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT and Miller Analogies (MAT).  Resources for these tests can be found in the Gale Testing and Education Center.  Accessible with your Hutchinson Public Library card (your password is your library card number).

Resources for field specific tests such as Law Enforcement, Fire Science and Nursing are available online and in library databases. Often field specific aptitude testing materials are available through the trade organization that sponsors the test.  Assistance with taking the Work Keys Test is available by calling the Kansas Works Center at 620-665-3559. Library staff will be happy to assist patrons with locating any materials referenced above or others that might be a part of the library collection.
