Book Discussion Groups

Book discussion groups are a great way to connect with others, talk about or learn more about what you are reading, or to try reading something different.

Sci-Fi

We've changed our Meeting Date

The Sci-Fi Book Discussion Group meets on the first Thursday of each month to discuss a work of science fiction or fantasy. We have informal discussions in a friendly atmosphere. We read everything from hard science fiction to fantasy, traditional formats to graphic novels, and occasionally even watch a film adaptation for comparison. Direct questions to Gregg Wamsley or Steve Westfahl.

Febryary 6th,  2020 at 7:00 pm in Conference Room 1

We will discuss THE LONG WAY TO A SMALL PLANET by Becky Chambers.  The group sometimes meets at Carl's Bar around 5:00 pm for food and drinks.  Book discussion is at 7:00 pm at the library.

Mystery Mavens
