Get a Hutchinson Public Library Card
The Hutchinson Public Library offers free library cards to patrons of any age. A library card will give you access to physical library materials, e-books and e-audiobooks, digital comics and streaming, learning databases, the computer lab, and much more.

Fill out an application:
You will need to bring the following with you:
- Photo ID, such as a driver’s license, school ID, passport, military ID, or prison ID
- Proof of address, if your current address is not on the photo ID
What about children and young adults under 18?
Parents and legal guardians may show their photo ID for children under 18. Young adults ages 13-17 may also use their own photo ID and proof of address.
Got a card but forgot your username or password/PIN?
Username:
Enter your entire 14-digit library card number without spaces.
Password/PIN:
Enter the last four digits of your telephone number.

Get a Kansas Library Card
The State Library of Kansas works with Kansas libraries to provide additional digital library books and learning databases for all residents.
Ask at any Service Desk to sign up, and show us your photo ID.
Then use the State Library’s website to explore new databases and reading materials!
