We will soon require training to use our 3D printing services. This introductory workshop covers basic information to perform 3D printing projects. Completing it gives you access to use our 3D printing equipment, and you will make a small 3D print at no cost.
You will need
- A current Hutchinson Public Library Card that belongs to you. You must bring this to the workshop.
- Basic computer and reading skills.
- A second visit to pick up your completed 3D print
Please remember:
- There is no cost to attend.
- There is not an age limit, but you should be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, as well as use a desktop computer.
- No previous experience is required.
- Seats are limited, but this workshop will be offered regularly. If you can’t attend a scheduled workshop, please contact us to discuss alternatives.
- The Makerspace will be closed to other activities during this workshop.
Are you new to Makerspace? Haven’t attended orientation? Come to the Makerspace 30 minutes before the 3D Printing workshop for our Makerspace Orientation! You’ll learn what Makerspace is all about, become familiar with our policies and services, and meet fellow makers and creatives. This event will become the introduction for everyone using the library makerspace, and may eventually be required. Get ready early by attending now!

- The Makerspace will be open during this workshop for non-disruptive projects.
- You don’t need to attend the 3D Printing workshop to come to the orientation.
