Stardust Sessions: A Night of Poetry and Connection

May 20 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Stardust Sessions: A Night of Poetry and Community Connection
at the Hutchinson Public Library

Take a deep breath and step into a peaceful evening of poetry, connection, and quiet inspiration at Stardust Sessions. Nestled in the calming space of the Hutchinson Public Library, this event invites you to slow down and soak in the words of Written in the Stars—a beautiful poetry collection from Humanities Kansas featuring Kansas poets and illustrations by Kansas artist, Matthew Willie Garcia.

Enjoy the soothing blend of soft music, gentle lighting, and celestial-themed treats as you listen to poems that speak to the heart and the stars. This immersive experience is designed to help you unwind, reflect, and connect—with both the poetry and the people around you.

As a special gift, each guest will receive a free copy of Written in the Stars to take home and continue the journey.

Whether you come with friends or just need a quiet night for yourself, Stardust Sessions is a space to simply be—together, under the stars.

This program was made possible by Humanities Kansas and the Written in the Stars books were made possible with the support of the Friends of Humanities Kansas along with Sunflower Foundation, Kansas Tourism, and the Greater Salina Community Foundation.

Registration is encouraged, Written in the Stars books are available first-come-first-serve. Register to let us know you’re coming!
